~August 20, 2012- Spanish Travelling AP!~

Elder Garcia is very busy! He has finally been transferred after being in the same area for just over a year! President was telling Elder Garcia how he didn't want him to get too comfortable in a place because that can be really hard on a missionary.
Something Elder Garcia has learned is being uncomfortable isn't always a bad thing. It has kept them humble to look for and trust in the help of the Lord. Elder Garcia says that the Lord made him get really uncomfortable with a new zone, new companion, and a new assignment! He's been called as the Spanish Travelling AP for the southern part of his mission. When he first got the call he felt a little oblivious. He went up to the mission president and ask him, "President, what is it that you would like me to do?" and he just said, "just check up on all the missionaries that you are in charge of, and if something is wrong, YOU fix it and just bless everyone and everywhere you go." As uncomfortable as Elder Garcia may be at times, this calling is helping him trust in God more and more!
So far everything is going great in his new zone. He gets along so well with his new companion, Elder Creager, and works really well with him. They already have someone with a baptismal date!! The ward is really excited about that because they haven't seen a baptism in months!
